The mission of Cadet College Kohat is to provide an exceptional standard of education that is accessible to all segments of society on a merit-based and competitive foundation. At CCK, we firmly believe that education is more than just classroom learning; it encompasses personal development, teamwork, discipline, and the cultivation of leadership qualities.
We strive to maintain a balance between academics, extracurricular activities, and character building to ensure our cadets are well-rounded individuals. From the classroom to the playground, from academic excellence to leadership roles, we prepare our cadets to face the challenges of tomorrow with confidence and integrity.
Our unique approach emphasizes the holistic development of each cadet, equipping them with the skills, values, and knowledge necessary to become effective leaders and responsible citizens. The college fosters an environment where young minds are encouraged to explore their potential, develop their talents, and grow into strong, disciplined leaders for the future.

Our History

Our History

Cadet College Kohat was established in 1965 as part of a broader national vision to foster discipline, leadership, and academic excellence among Pakistan’s youth. Situated in the historic city of Kohat, the college was conceived to serve as a premier institution modeled after traditional military boarding schools, combining rigorous academics with physical and moral development. Under the leadership of its founding principal, Lt. Col. Faizullah Khattak, and a dedicated team of educators, the college laid its foundations with a clear mission: to shape future leaders grounded in integrity, service, and resilience.

From its inception, CCK distinguished itself not only by academic standards but also through its distinctive culture of brotherhood, character-building, and patriotism. The early years were marked by the tireless efforts of both faculty and cadets to establish traditions that continue to define the institution today. As one of the earliest cadet colleges in Pakistan, it quickly earned a reputation for producing well-rounded individuals who went on to excel in diverse fields — from the armed forces and civil service to science, business, and academia. The legacy of CCK’s founding years remains a source of pride and inspiration for generations of Kohatians.
